Leonie is a Ph.D. student at CSHL’s School of Biological Sciences. She obtained her Bachelor of Sciences degree at the College of William & Mary in Virginia, where she double-majored in biology and chemistry. She did her undergraduate thesis research on the synthesis and biological testing of quinone-based natural products with Dr. Dana Lashley. In 2022, she joined the Tuveson Lab with an interest in studying the tumor microenvironment, especially the heterogeneity of cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) in pancreatic cancer.
